The O.S. FS-70 Surpass and FL-70 engines have both been replaced by the FS-72A.

It does look like the carb can be turned around on the FS-56A engine. The manual is not yet in electronic format for download. Available soon.

What advantages does the FS72A have over the FS70 Surpass II? Both these are available to me for purchase at relatively the same price point

The FS-72a is a new engine that will have parts available for a longer period of time than the FS-70. Also, it has the newer styling that O.S. is putting into their new engines.

Both of these are aesthetic improvements (No offence meant). I am into 3d and want a reliable, powerful and durable engine. Obviously OS wants to push the 72A but which is the better for my application? I will be flying 10% nitro, plain castor.
