Default Bad bearings not covered under warrenty?

Recently sent my 3 month old engine in for repair and was told it would not be covered under warrenty. I started the tread below, and was refered here.

http://www.rcuniverse.com/forum/m_8970947/tm.htm

"Unfortunately, not using after-run oil, or not using enough, is not
considered a warranty issue because it is not a manufacturing defect.
It is also mentioned in the manual on page 25 to use after-run oil after
each use to prevent corrosion."

Default RE: Bad bearings not covered under warrenty?

If the bearings were corroded, then their replacement would not be considered a warranty repair. Corrosion is not covered by the warranty.
