Default 120AX bearing change out

I need to replace the front and rear bearings in my 120AX. Having removed the head, cylinder liner and back plate, I'm unable to get enough play to slide the con rod off the crankshaft. Is there some proceedure that will let me remove the crank to remove the bearings?

Any help would be appreciated.............thanks

Default RE: 120AX bearing change out

When the cylinder liner is removed and the connecting rod is moved as far aft in the piston is possible, then you'll need to pry the rod off the crank. Use a large carriage bolt and put the edge of the head under the rod and on the crankshaft. You'll then be able to "pop" off the rod.
