OS 1.20 S III pumper
Bill, I had just sent in my carb/regulator from my OS 1.20 pumper for a regulator rebuild. Now the high end needle has no effect, doesn't mater if it is closed all the way or open until it is about to fall out. Doesn't go lean or rich?? Any thoughts on a cure?? I have flush the carb with the needle removed to see if there was any crud inside the carb but nothing came out except clean fuel. The engine is mounted inverted but it was inverted in the plane I removed it from too. Any thoughts on a cure??

If you close the needle and the engine still runs, then the carb body and/or needle is bad. The needle seat is a common thing to have go bad. Check the needle. It may have a worn spot where it's been against the needle seat too many times.
