.90 FSR for speed
Hi Bax
I just got a "new" old OS .90 FSR from ebay. I have had great experiences with the .60 VFR and that makes me suppose the .90 FSR can be used for speed. Am I right? I will be using on a very clean airframe which is currently doing 150 mph on a YS 60 , 10.5x9 prop.
What are the max RPM for the 90FSR? Will a pipe be useful?
Thanks
Ed

RE: .90 FSR for speed
The O.S. Max .90 FSR engine was not designed for speed. It's a general-purpose engine, intended for larger scale and pattern-type models. You'd put a propeller on it to turn in the mid-10,000's or so, possibly as high as 11,500 RPM. If you run the engine at high RPM, like a racing engine, it will not last very long at all.
