Default 65 LA cover plate LEAKS alot

I have a new OS 65LA engine in my trainer and it leaks fuel out of the cover plate so bad it even coates the top of the wing and everything up front is just dripping after a flight.

I have tightened the screws.

Will silicon sealant fix this or is there a better remedy ? Is there an aluiminum plate from another model engine, say 61FX that would fit the 65 case ?

Thanks, Michael

Usually, just a careful tightening of the rear cover is enough. You can make a thicker gasket out of regular notecard stock. Otherwise, the rear cover would need to be replaced. O.S. doesn't have anything other than the stock replacement.
