What is this used for?
Didn't come with mine.. (airbleed carb, 2nd owner)
Is it for a spinner backplate?
So you don't have to drill the backplate out to the large diameter or for storage??

COme to think about it, I do not think it could work that way on a spinner...
Starage??? keeps the cotter key from falling out when put on the shelf (when no prop on hub)???

It's usually used to hold the prop washer and prop nuts off of the drive washer when the engine is in the box. It's not used when you actually want to use the engine.
