os max 25 part #s and rebuild info
 

i have a os max 25 casting # 2601 with AH stamped on opposit side . i would like to freshen up or upgrade to a ringed version if possible . found bearings need to finish complete rebuild . what type and year of manufacture is it . and can i repair this fine little motor wanting to make a few more flights in my ultimate.
any help would be great & thanks

We'd like to help you, but you did not identify which particular O.S. Max .25-size engine you have. They have made many different .25-size engines over the years, and we need to know which one you have before we can see how we can help you. Any identifying markings can help. Please give us as complete a description of the engine as possible. The numbers on the rear cover don't identify the particular engine.

os max 25 2b carb rear cover has 2007 stamped AH on bottom right mounting rail 2601 in casting 762 mufler bolt through type cylinder liner is30.15 mm long id is 18mm od is20.03 mm ball bearing non ringed

1982 os 25 f found the information need rebuild parts now where to get these is the next project .

It looks like you have an old O.S. Max .25 FSR engine. We'd have no idea where any parts might be obtained for it. You'd have to pour through listings from dealers who sell to the engine collectors' market. They may advertise on the web, but also may advertise in small ads in the back of the model magazines...usually in the classified sections. Parts have not been made for that engine for nearly three decades.

Hey Throne if you go to ebay and look under os engines there are tons of listings for OS engines parts galore there it might take so looking there to find what you need. give it a look Michael j
