I like this thread , it speaks volumes of who we are. Perhaps you are what you drive as much as you are what you eat these days.
Nothing wrong with Fords Ron. I always liked Chevs better, still hate Fords' tractor like stearing but after having 4 chev pos's , I say Ford is the better truck.
Great idea to get a couple shots of her before I destroy it. I have a feeling she is going to be around for some time though.

RE: Show Off Your Ride!!!
Since my original link broke and it's been 4 years since a pic, here's my ride again, she's seen a lot of miles. 1997 Acura CL 3.0L premium. 153,xxx mi. Since I posted last she's been lowered 3,"got a real intake, some small upgrades to the lighting to make it look newer and a little 10" subwoofer. Two child seats fit in the back amazingly enough.
I think I only get to to keep it because my son always requests to ride in it over mommy'y corolla and already wants it when he's older(he just turned 3).

Just thought it would be interesting to see everyone's ride, whether it would be a daily driver or a summer sports car.
About 5 months ago I made my first large purchase to replace my first car. Unfortuneately due to high fuel costs and rediculous insurance rates, (students) I was forced to buy a small economy car. I drive about 500-700km per week.
My first car was a 1989 Toyota Camry. It was pretty much stock, 2.0L 4 cyl, 4 spd auto, blue on blue, 230 000km and did not attract the ladies. It got a calculated 23/29mpg city/highway. Insurance costs were about $310 per month or $3720 per year.
My current car is a 2004 Toyota Corolla CE. It is 1.8L 4 cyl, 5 spd std, grey on grey, 90 000km as of now and does not attract the ladies. It has a nice aftermarket sound system with some thumpy bass. It get's an amazing calculated 35/44mpg city/highway. I'm currently averaging about 41mpg from purchase date. Insurance costs are a rediculous $410 per month or $4920 per year.
EDIT: For some reason photos do not want to display properly so they had to be shrunk to a very small size. Even then they do not display properly. [sm=spinnyeyes.gif]
