Last year I had a RC tip published in RC Driver magazine and saved the copy for a keepsake, Well I went looking for it a few weeks ago and found the wife had tossed it and not remembering what issue it was so I could order a back issue, I sent a email to the Editor of the mag asking if he could look up the Issue.

To my surprise he said he would look it up and send me the issue out of his own collection. Well I got the package today and thought this is a big box for just a magazine. l opened up the box and was shocked! he sent me the magazine, stickers and Crawler tires and aluminum side frames for a CR-01.

I feel they went well beyond what they had to and I think this speaks to the great staff and Magazine they have at RC Driver.

I have that exact issues in the can...

There really cool, there customer service is one of the better ive delt with over the years.

Yeah He did ask me what I had for RC's before he sent this and I told him CC-01 and firestorm etc. Maybe he thought I said CR-01, no matter I will be getting a CR-01 soon!!

That is really awesome! Wow! On a side note, what happened to Bob Hastings? Is he still an RCDriver contributor?

Not sure about right now, But in Aug 2009 when I had my tip published he was doing article's for RC Driver.

Maaaan you scored, its a bummer he sent you Rover Blues but heck, free stuff is free stuff . I got sick of RC Car Action but RC Driver seems a lot better, hmm maybe a new mag subscription
