LOL, Yea sorry, RE-opening, All the did was take that front half of the store, spruced it up a bit and put some expensive ass furniture in it.. Almost as bad as the prices at "CON"ways, Where their moto is, We'll carge out the bum so You don't have to drive to the city...LOL

Yea they are a bit Red, Depeneds on what You want, I've wanted to check out Grand River Hobbies to

ORIGINAL: redfisher1974

Cool! Like the pic! lol,

I've never been to a show yet, Would be nice to see one sometime!

Only place I have shopped is flight craft in K-W
I hear they are over priced, I would like to check them out tho..

Talking about overpriced After the show we went to bigboyswithcooltoys and most things in the store were 2 to 3 times the real cost. They had a nice selection of stuff and the RTR prices where not too bad, but the electronics were crazy like $259 for a MM combo!!!!

Buggyboy - Grand River Hobbies is the main shop I go to. They have decent prices and are good to deal with. Much better than flightcraft.

I met up with Red at the show. I bought two RCs there so it wasn't a letdown for me but there could have been more vendors. Bigboys is a rip and I don't like their 'style'. Its a very fancy store for selling toys that run in the dirt. I have a video of our bash but havn't had time to upload it yet. Red - I will give you a preview to approve the content since you are half of the video.

Hello Garry - a nice sunny day to watch your dog run away.....for three days! Sorry I had to get that obvious joke in.

Red's setup was wild. What happened in that video made me buy the same motor. I can't believe how much of a dog my 4200kv novak setup is in comparison. If the differences in loaded kv ratings we estimate are correct his setup should get another 10,000 rpm on 3s than mine. I still have it in the back of my mind that there is some damage to my speed controller from some bad batteries, though.

I know NOTHING about electric RC's lol, I only have nitro at the moment, But I'm finding them to be a huge money pit and tuning is a pain in the butt, I've been looking at a few electric ones, But have no clue what to look for!

I'm ready to branch off from the Redcat Racing brands and go for a "High end" RC

Losi and HPI are my favourites. Associated would be in third place (and would be higher if they would update their hexes).
