I use to own a 79' formula firebird. It had a 4.9 liter Pontiac v8
I had a 77 Trans Am with a 403 Olds engine with a 4 barrel quadra junk and boy would that thing get with it. I also had a 79 Z28 with the 350 and a 83 Camaro with 305 and I bought a brand new 25th Aniversary Camaro in 92 that had a 3.2 V6 that ran pretty good. However the 82 Mustang GT I had with that little 5.0 would walk over all of them. They were all fun cars to own though. Now I own a grocery getter Hyundai Sonata to haul my wife to get groceries and the kids to ball practice. My days of cruisin for chicks has long gone!LOL

You're not going to find anyone with 3rd gen Camaros and systems. Not here at least.

This one. It is a 79, I bought it for myself when I retired from the Military.

Those days are gone for me too. Would love to get a new Camaro or Challenger but just not practical for a family. I now drive a 2003 BMW 530i sedan, styling wise I think it's pretty low key but the ride is awesome. It's one solid machine.

I hear you, my wife has a Rav4 and I have the BMW. You're lucky to have a 69' fastback. [X(] I recommend to keep it original as possible.

When I was in high school my aunt and uncle (same ones with the farm) wanted to give me a 67' Buick Riviera with a 430 wildcat v8 and posi traction as my first car. It too was mint and a real sleeper. My parents said no way. I was pissed when I found out about that.

Bit late to the post party here, but if the OP is still looking for pics of "Camaros with systems" then might I suggest Cardomain.com? Last I looked there were about a billion F-bodies on there, done every way from right to wretched.

This is just me with a pipe dream, but I say get an LS3 with TR6060 6speed gearbox! One out of a '10 has 426 HP! And out of a mouse block too, totally stock form the factory!
Add a tune and put on an intake, headers, and upgrade exhaust and you are easily pumping out 450HP!
Now that will really wake up your Camaro, very few guys will be able to touch you (unless they have a Vette, Viper, late year "Cobra" that is now called a Shelby GT500 Mustang, or a highly modded car, or some much more expensive car like a Porsche, or whatever).

Are you kidding? I was talking about THE system! The drive train system! The heart and soul of a car!
Any other kind of system is nothing more than just bling!
