RE: which would you get
it would "replace" the 32" my pc and ps3 are hooked to now. the present tv is the house's tv in the living room and i would like to have my pc in what i am claiming as my room. the 32" is ideal and has the plug i want but the overall size of the 24" combined with th increased definition and the fact its $40 less (for now, anyway) makes it appealing. either way it would likely be put om a table at an angle so i can work on an rc while watching bones or annoy people in the lounge while i tinker with something.

here is the thing with definition, dont look at 720 or 1080, its bull, once you hit 720 unless you are looking at the pixles on the screen you wont tell.
what gets you picture is contrast ratio and refresh rate, if you play games i would suggest a 120 Hz set.
if you can spend the extra dough, get a zenith plazma, which is 600HZ, 3: 20K contrast. thats what im running and got it when it was just a few bucks more than the dynex. VERY happy with it, throws almost no heat.
between those two, get the bigger one, however, i would really try to find something with a 120HZ refresh rate, 60HZ will give you some motion lag.

RE: which would you get
I got this one a little over a year ago: http://www.dynexproducts.com/product...32L100A11.html
I use to for my pc/tv/360, for what i paid for it at the time i'm very pleased. It runs both 720/1080p hd with cable, and on my pc i can push it bast 1080p when i need/want. Picture is clear and sound is what you would expect from a tv.
Dynex is just another re-brand like visio or any other cheap hd tv, they all descend from samsung models just with cheaper and less quality parts.
In the rc market it would be xtms bigfoot or duratracks firehammer etx just rebaged.
Here's a pic even before i mounted it, its next to a dell 4:3 ratio 20" lcd.

RE: which would you get
it depends on what you want to use it for and how far you want to sit away form it.
I would rather sit close a a small monitor at high resolution that far away from a large monitor with low resolution.
So for computer use, small and sharp. If you are going to sit on the couch, it doesn't matter because you cant see the difference really, so I would get the bigger one.
