i signed up to some stupid trial subscription ages ago , and cancelled it , now these creeps are passing my info and credit card details around and signing me up for trials that i didnt even do myself without my permission , so i gotta go on the damn website and cancel the 3 day trial before it goes into full blown $29 monthly plans . whats an easy fix to this ? should i just call my bank and tell them i lost my credit card somewhere so they cancel it and send me a new card with a new number so this crap will stop . even if i get a new card number will it stop anymore unauthorised automatic payments ? because the number has changed ?

I would defiantly talk to your bank.

Report the charges as fraudulent, and tell the credit card issuer you want a new number.

Definitely talk to the c/c company as said, tell them they are unauthorized charges, get them reversed/charged back. Have your acct# AND card number changed. They should be able to do all of this for free.

I got a new card they are sending me a new card with a new card number on it , will that stop any auto payments ? I also removed it off my PayPal account . so I don't think anyone can get money off it anymore .

yes you will need to change your auto payments.
I'll be honest I'm VERY wary of places that will not let me pay through paypal.

PayPal has changed the system I can't acsess and view my automatic payment subscriptions anymore . plus yeah I was just confirming that without the new card number they can't charge crap on me cos the old card was cancelled . its funny I also stopped getting emails from all those sites aswell they must have found out the card don't work no more lol
