No wonder the Hyundai needs a new tranny lol. Not bad that it can smoke the tires given the 0-60 time.
I think every fwd car in the world can smoke the tires a bit with the e brake lol.

LOL well I don't use the e-brake to do this. Surprisingly. And anything with a clutch can burn the tires, but mine is auto. Not bragging, cause believe me, I am far from impressed lol.

Isn't that the first gen. Tiburon? I think they are so ugly. I don't mind the second gen, they look ok and sound good stock with a V6. Not sure if I would ever buy a Hyundai again though. I'm not a big fan of them. I bought this cause it was the best deal around and how really low miles.

Well, the ol' Hyundai got towed off today to the shop. Should be Thursday I will have it back. Actually can't wait to drive it again. I've been driving my wifes 97 Camry with all the bells and whistles, and to be honest, I was so used to simple, power options are almost a pain in the as* lol.

Ha...this isn't the V6 Camry, just the 2.2 5SFE. This thing is a boat and has no low end power. Gotta wind her out to get somewhere in a hurry, but I don't beat on it cuz the 186k miles. still gets 30mph highway. I like the cruise on it, and that's about it. Both sway bar mounts and bushing are shot, so every little bump is a clunk. But it rides amazing still.

If the bracket is not screwed on, then how would you be able to undo it to change the bushings.. I doubt the mechanic would do that.. [X(]

Well when I was changing the oil pump gasket and seal I noticed it was shot, but never really looked at or into it. So I didn't know if it screwed in or not. I'm just saying the guy my father inlaw took it to his mechanic. but he did spot weld it lol

1/4 mile times are similar between your cars. In fact if both cars are running properly I believe the Camry may even pull out. You sure the extra weight of the Camry just doesn't make it "feel" slower? A soft plush nice suspension will make cars feel slower. Some cars just "feel" fast even though faster ones may pull on it real hard.

Yeah, seems like cars with harder suspension go faster than the ones with soft suspension. Maybe it's because with the harder suspension you feel the road more.[&:]
