Nope. SLI is good. If he doesn't have a monitor, how is he on RCU? But, if you insist;  http://pcpartpicker.com/p/1jIzD

LOL I saw an add and went to the website and saw the price. I would never pay that much for a laptop. Even if it was literally the best laptop produced. Plus, I don't game on computers, so this computer would be useless for me.

Just bought a Turnigy Trackstar 120 amp ESC for 41 dollars from the US warehouse. How long would it take to get here?
Might be a few weeks, it'll take a while. As long as you're not in a rush, it's good.

That's because people are used to cheap computers nowadays.. 12-13 years ago, a decent laptop is $2,500.. and a really good one is like $4k..

Honestly I don't even think I would pay more than $500 for one. For basic internet browsing, uploading pics to computer, anything more would be a  waste of money. Plus, I'm a cheap-o lol

Crap. I've got a HUGE race on the 2nd. Hopefully, it will arrive by then. I also ordered a capacitor for my other Havoc from Advantage Hobbies. How long would THAT be?

I also just realized there is an English House Sparrow in a tree in my backyard. My dogs have caught 3 of the birds; one gave it to me as a present, the toher 2 were eaten on the spot. Now, we have some pretty ticked birds back thare. I'm taking down the nest later.

Well, it's coming from across the world, so it might take a bit. If they provided a tracking number I'd think that an estimated delivery date would be on there.

Don't order parts from the other side of the planet if you're in a rush.

...unless it is shipping from their USA warehouse (the item on their site would have indicated as such) - then there's hope.

    3 Currently. Looking to add a 4th.

And have you ever run SLI Collector? WAY more people will tell you to buy one powerful card instead of 2 less powerful cards. SLI / Crossfire do not always work well. Usually cause more issues than benefits.

I have a SSD Eman. Totally worth it. Put your OS and core programs on it. Then use a second HDD for data for frequent reads and writes.

Yep, that's what everyone says, and when I (finally) do a PC rebuild, I want to go that route. My current PC is 5+ years old, so that SSD better last.

I'll still back up my data and all that, but would be really annoyed if they don't prove reliable over multiple years. Rebuilding an OS is no fun.

Its from the USA Warehouse. HK= Hobby King.

And, yes, I have a SLI/Crossfire system, and it works very good.

And, go for at least a 64GB SSD.

    128GB SSD. Get a Crucial M4.

Well good for you collector. My 6970 Crossfire has to be disabled sometimes in order to get games to work(triple monitor). I would MUCH rather have a 7970GHZ or a 780 over a 2 card setup. This isn't my first rodeo and like I said before, it's pretty much unanimous that it's a lot easier to have a single powerful card over 2 weaker cards.

Anyone check out the Beta forum yet? Looks "interesting", but nothing amazing.
