I got green-apple-quickstep. Too much rich food, junk food, etc. It wasn't pleasant...........

But on a brighter note, it was a gorgeous day. Snow down form a few days ago, not a breath of wind, sun was out with hardly a cloud in the sky. Made one happy to be alive... until "the horror" in the bathroom started....

i put together my digger, WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY too much power i have the smallest lipo on there with puny little outrunner (600watts though) and i just came back from bending my pins and stripping a 32p spur gear! cant even get up to speed with out it spinning out, even backed off the throttle to 50% and still too much running atleast 35mph at half speed with 2s!!!

i think i need to plop a big ole nimh in there to weigh it down.

Merry Christmas everone!

poor kid though, when he/she gets older people will give gifts for both christmas AND birthday, most likely will get ripped off

Congrats Foxy!

I got new hunting arrows from the lady, as well as some 45 year old scotch.

Mom and Dad are taking me on a shopping spree for tools.

I also got a day with my fiancee at the archery range, and lots of money for my trip to the cabin in Southern Ohio here in a couple of weeks, looking to get some late-season bowhunting in for a change!

Haha you're probably right though. I'll accept the hint that they don't want me there if it gets me a washer and dryer lol

Well kids DO change your life ALOT like... your wallet! Take me for instance.... As you can see this is my first post and I'm a noob in the hobby rc world.. Been trying to get my wife to buy (or to let ME buy) a nitro rc for 6+ years now...And FINALLY she gave in...only thing is I had to keep it "cheap"...As everyone knows (even me the noob) that this aint a "cheap" hobby lol... So I tried to keep it cheap but it still costed me around $400...
This is what I'll be getting in sometime this week for my late Xmas...better late than never.... I cant wait!

RedCat Tornado S30
RedCat Nitro Starter Kit
9 quarts 20% Nitro Fuel
5 medium glow plugs

well i see where your money went! 9qts of nitro? YIKES! you spend so much more ordering fuel or even buying fuel in quart form.

also 5 glow plugs??? why not start with 3, one for break in, one for after break in, and one as a backup, plugs last a long time on a well tuned engine (i get a gallon or two with one plug)

i should tell your parents you could have started out with a brushless rig, a charger and lipo for under $200
