Transmission: Front Wheel Drive
Gearbox: manual 5 gear
Tyres: 205/45/16
Weight claimed: 1090 kg/2403 lb (kerb)

I have no mods planned for this, as i like standard cars.

A trackday would be nice though, will have to see if Donington offer anything, as its only 7-8 miles away! [8D]

Yeah, but remember that Fiero is quite old and back in the days, it did not have as much requirement from the government... Airbags, etc, etc.

So it is much harder to do a lightweight car nowadays.. [:@]

true to that, the fiero did have a space frame vs. a unibody so it couldve weighed sub 2000's like the miata i had at 2,100lbs

that means that clio (is that it?) must have a well designed unibody in order to be light AND safe.

I seen a Fiero hit the front quarter panel of some early '80s American car once.

A couple of items from the utility closet and both cars were on their way: toilet plunger and broom & dust pan [:@]

Nice car lee - nice and light, and good power! I thought my 3 was reasonably light at about 2900 lb or so.

I also just ordered new tires - Michelin Pilot Exalto A/S - same as yours?

While listening to talk radio not long ago, I heard them say an average of 42,000 people die in car accidents each year. I didn't realize they had that many Fiero's on the road. That's an average of 115 people a day.

Who would have ever guessed.

nobody wants to be that guy... dont be that guy, guy.

also you know whats really funny? the fiero was the first car to get a 5star crash test rating without a air bag in the american market, at the time only being beaten by volvo.

Hey Sharky Sharky, here Sharky Sharky. I never said the Fiero was unsafe. Read my last post more careful and you'll see I was mocking that a Fiero was a 4 wheeled coffin. You try to make everything I say wrong, kinna reminds me of my older brother, everybody in the world is wrong except my brother.

The driver is why a car is a rolling coffin, not the car.

Chillout and have a cigar.
