Haha.
OK...
Intel i7 2600 @ 4.8Ghz on hybrid water/air (Corsair H80)
Gigabyte Z68 UD4 (sick board)
12GB 1600mhz
2xOCZ Agility 2.0 80GB in RAID 10 (double capacity double speed, no redundancy) - I read a GB a sec (995mb/s).
1x1TB generic Seagate
Nvidia 580 GTX
22'' LG 120hz 3d vision monitor (was good when I bought it, bit out of date now).
Whereas yours is all about the screens, mine is really all about the hard disk performance. It really is phenomenal. Windows 7 boots in about 9 secs. I don't ever wait for anything. At all. In Skyrim, on loading screens, I don't get to read more than the first 3 words of the titbits of information that pop up to entertain you while its loading. Which can be annoying, expecially if it was an interesting piece of lore or something. Everyone who's used it had their mind blown, and of course the 3d is great too.
What's your windows performance index? I'm 5.8, just 0.1 off max, very frustrating, my CPU's fault.
Haha.

RE: PC went
Vista was based on a 5.9 scale. Windows 7 is based on 7.9
I forget what mine is, its low due to the fact of my Non SSD OS drive.

Yeh, forgot they changed it, anyway, got a screenie, here ya go This was in Jan, right after I got the max stable overclock, I don't run it at 4.8 all the time. Mostly at 4.3, especially now its summer and the ambient is about 100*!

Yeah I forgot I have a 1TB Caviar Black SATA3, and a 1.5TB Green WD, and a Crucial M4 256GB SATA3 SSD, heck I built this thing inMarchor so, can't remember what crap I put in it...does a 7.8. I think windows is picking up the Spindle Drives and lowering the score as well. Also run one of these NZXT Sentry LX Fan Controller but all on an Antec 500w PSU...
I was kiddingly telly my wife about our friendly little jousting, and she laughed, and wanted to know how old you are, I am 54 believe it or not...hah hah....Da Do Dee Doo..!!

I think he was being sarcastic hence the term "Eat it lol". My laptop has a 5850 in it too! Of course its a mobile version so yours is more than likely a bit faster.

RE: PC went
Well... posting here because it's relevant enough. I hate Microsoft. Yesterday there was a new "patch" - note that I had all automatic updating of any form disabled - and of course, it completely busted my startup. Even after startup "repair" the error definition was.. and I'm not kidding here: BadPatch. Windows is no longer. I'm posting this from a Puppy Linux LiveCD. I'll probably put Chakra or something with KDE back on here instead. Luckily since Puppy is great I was able to easily rescue all of the files I needed.. besides, I only used windows for Dreamweaver, Photoshop, and games.. so I'll probably reinstall it sometime. But for now, I'm sticking with something that just works... Linux.
