Can't watch videos!!
Guys I need your help! I can't watch any videos posted to RCU on my Asus laptop, it has Windows 8, but I only work on desktop mode. I can got to youtube and I can watch them, but none posted here. The video pops up and if I press play, I can hear the video, but I can't see it. any ideas?

RE: Can't watch videos!!
Well I went to the Adobe website and it says that Adobe with Windows 8 is always updating when it needs to. I tried just looking for Adobe in the programs bar, but on desktop mode, there isn't a start menu to look at all the programs.

I hate you cummins. (joke)
I personally run Google Chrome and Flash is built into it which doesn't cause any issues. Try googling "Why dont embedded youtube videos load". It might be your cache and or cookies as well. Try deleting those.

I did the whole -properties>internet options>advanced>reset and it still didn't work. I have googled it and can't come up with anything useful to me. It is harder to navigate the windows 8, even on the desktop mode because there are still things different.

I'm still betting video drivers dude. Windows 8 is still new, drivers aren't very good yet. See if you can get a better or more recent windows 8 video chipset driver. What does it have for a video card? Or is it the Intel integrated Ivybridge stuff?

Right, if your windows 8 is 32 bit, download this...
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Det...=3498&lang=eng
If your windows 8 is 64 bit, download this...
https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Det...=3498&lang=eng
If after installing these drivers, anything strange happens, revert back to the Asus 'VGA' driver, found here...

I did, but if you check the dates on the Asus drivers, they are a LOOOOONG time out of date. In fact, they are dated a week BEFORE the release of Windows 8. The Intel drivers were updated a few days ago.

Firefox is mozillas new product which replaced netscape navigator
prior to netscape the product was called Mosaic (which I started out on )
From what I remember the name changed due to firefox being made on a whole new core (geko) than netscape was
