My grandparents moved, so my granddad had nowhere to put his 71 f100 he had worked on for years and owned since the early 80's so he was going to sell it but he called me a couple days before my birthday and asked if he should sell it or give it to me, bet you can't figure out what I said lol. It's not perfect, it has some problems, cosmetic and structural (rust on underside of the bed mostly) but nothing very bad at all, He's done alot to it and put alot of time into it. My uncle even had it when he was stationed in Hawaii in the 90's, probably where the rust came from lol.

That's sweet! Congrats, I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
Do you have any work you're planning on doing on it immediately?

Good looking truck... will you be driving a lot in it? Just be careful as it does not have shoulder belt and airbags..

If I would have had that at the age of 16 I would have sacrificed much to drive it everyday, its a beautiful truck. Drive it all you can while you can cuz someday someone will tell you you need something safer for the kids...
Don't ever get rid of it!
