im wondering cause the starter box motor is burnt out

ate the rubber off , , what if i took a triangle file and added some grooves on the motor ? where the starter box catches it
would that help for traction ? seems it looks like the grip is worn out alot and close to smooth

Purchase a replacement motor and rubber wheel if you can find parts for it . Or just buy a new bumpbox/starter box.
