Something to do with those S3003 standard Servos
Let me start this off with I'm working on prototype anyweight bots... I think I found my drive system.
Geese I think they multiply... I have 5 of them. I took one apart and accidentally broke the potentiometer half off of it... oops.
4 left
Three of these have Brass Potentiometers on them... these ones are my second choice for this project.
Last one has a plastic potentiometer on it so it was perfect.
I opened them up and modded them for 360 degree rotation. Look it up on google.
Then I built an awesome 2wd robot. each wheel is independently proportionally controlled by my DX6. I used the A and B sections of the A,B,C Mixing options to make it only 1 stick control. It's pretty sweet.
Getting the pics as we speek

I have done that But with a sail servo. I made it in to a fast sail winch. Its fun.
I have a micro boat with a HS81 that has the POT gone and replaced ti caps and stuff and it drives that boat with the large receiver pack

The BEC on a mamba 25 provides 6v right? That should boost my speeds a little. In the pics the sheet of plastic under it is what the main chassis is going to me made of then plated with some form of metal
Sorry... another 43 mins left but there are 2 teaser pics coming in a few mins

Yes its 6 volts. Nice it looks good. How do you like your spectrum . I had the DX7 but didn't like it for some reason and got the pistol one
LOL so you are just going to use the mamba esc for the power? LOL I read a article where you could put like 12 volts to the larger sail servo and run it off a different battery . But i forget where it was

If I were to run more than 6 volts I'd need a different Reciever...
Monday I'm going to pick up a brushless airplane motor for the spinning dome on the outside... hence the mamba 25 ESC
I love this DX6... only airplane radio I've used and it got donated by Spektrum for this project XD...
Just Wait for Skorpio Jr.'s Bigger brother... a hobbyweight powered by a Mamba Maxx 5700 Castle Creations Donated

man that'd be so much fun to set up a little track like a mini z track for them, although I just did the math for some insanely fast .03 for 60 degree servos and they'd only go about 3 mph. You'd need some micro motors or something. But you could make a bunch for all your friends. And everyone could do tiny tweaks to get the best speed and then you could race them! If you set it up so that each stick controls each servo you could have amazingly reactive steering. You'd have to tone it down some so that it would be drivable. It'd be soooo much fun! I wish my friends were into R/C...

That's what it is... but I set it up with mixing so that it's just one stick so if you move it left it would be like moving one up and one down and it's TOTALLY proportional
