I have a cogging issue with my sidewinder 5700 Im using 4200 in my Durga but it wont move unless I use full throttle, its weird because I dont have that problem with my GTB/3.5 maybe I need to go to lipo? also its not as fast as I thought it would be the 3.5 with the same pack is a beast this is ok but I have brushed motors for my Tempest Pro[:-] thats faster

Has anyone ordered from etamiya.com ? I looked on there and they had some good prices but I havent heard of anyone ordering from them.
I have and no real problems except for longer than normal shipping times because of an out of stock item.

their prices can be high, but also they stock stuff that nowhere else has (eg: some Tamiya wheels that were going for loads on ebay, were a bargain on eTamiya) do bear in mind that some of their in stock stuff is not always in stock! but this only happened on two items.

you need to set the controller to FWD-Brake-RVS if its forward/reverse you wont have any brakes.. thats the boat setting

also timing should be low or lowest start power depends on cogging in your situation id say medium or high traction control"punch control" off or 0%

another thing to take into consideration is the gear ratio and your batteries.. if one or the other of those is off its gonna cog as well

Ugh all this brushless talk makes me want/need a cheap roller for my 5700 system to try. I can maybe piece together a thunder tiger electric buggy, I have one in pieces, Ill just steal parts from the stadium truck I have. They are discontinued and I didnt have luck with the T4 shocks fitting, so Ill put the buggy together un it til it brakes then buy a Durga, T4, or evader EXT.

My Baja finally shipped It kept getting pushed back from early to late May and then early June. I guess that Tower must have gotten a few in and I was high enough on the list that I got one. Now I just need to be patient and wait for it to get here. You would think that after waiting for over a month that a few days would be no problem, but I think that I might lose it. The UPS man better look out when he shows up or he might lose a hand when I get the box from him. Kind of like when you give a hungry dog a biscuit[sm=wink_smile.gif] I'll try to take some pics of the build and post them up, maybe even a video when I'm done.

Has anyone had any experience with the Airtronics MX 3-FHSS? For now I am going to use my FM radio, but would like to go to 2.4ghz for the Baja as well as some of my other cars. I can't decide between the Airtronics or the 3PM. Right now I'm leaning towards the Airtronics because of the display screen and it has more model memory. Otherwise it seems that the features are the same. I think that a similar question was asked before but I didn't see the awnser. I know Longhair got a Futaba and is happy with it, just wondering if anyone had the Airtronics.

So I went for a drive today to drop my father off at the doctors today and ended up with $225 in new rc toys,
wheely king 4x4 arr most of the other things on the tower list I had posted motor etc some odds and ends for other stuff too.
Spent a while tonight installing the electronics and getting it ready to run. Its alot of fun, quite similar to turbos car, does wheelies when you want it too but can also drive and be a useful vehicle, I have to day its alot of fun nice to have something with 5"+ tires.
I have some pics I was going to post but cant find the cable at the moment for the camera....

Camera reviews are so confusing because it seems like they are all being compaired to the author's top of the line camera [:@]

No matter what camera I end up getting, it will be the last one so I don't have to go through this again [&o]

With 7.2V, the 3.5 system is going to be faster than the 5700 for sure!! It is even faster than the 7700k MM!

I am the retard of the day: Dropped my car off for services at the dealer, got a ride back to work.. I figured that they'd call me when it is done.. guess not! And just realized that I forgot to pick up the car.. [:@] (service department closed at 5PM..)
