How about it guys????
Is it an acoustic with electric pickups?

If so id go with some solid state amp. I use a Fender amp has a great clean sound and an ok distortion sound.
but i play an electric guitar, just can't drop the money on a peavy that I want.

Save the tube amps for electric only.

Tube amps FTW

They are a bit more but worth every penny and will bury any solidstate amp with electric or acoustic.
If you would like to save some cash, a lot of brands are coming out with transtube amps. Basically a solidstate with a tube preamp. Peavy, Traynor, Fender, Epiphone, Vox etc.....
Traynor makes cheap all tube combos

Zeen has my vote too. Tube amp all the way. For solid state, Gallien Krueger makes awesome heads and cabinets. They can be pricey, though.

They tend to be a tad more expensive than solid state but it is totally worth it. Don't be fooled by the low wattage either, 5watts tube is like 15-25watts solid state. Plus when you run the tubes hot you get natural overdrive, no need for a pedal.
Depends whether or not you want new or used.
New you can find a nice big 100watt tube amp for around $1000, and obviously less wattage lower cost.
Personally I would check the used market if you want to save some cash.

Are you playing shows or just home use?
For shows I would get a 20-100watt(depending) and for home like 5-15watts.

IMO, a nice Fender amp would suit your acoustic nicely. They are known for there amazing clean channel and they have a wicked reverb unit.
Never ordered from here but it's really easy to research stuff.....

Thats the site I ordered my guitar from.
I might get some there or I might pick up a used one at the local music store.
