You could maybe give it up for fishing though.

Golf would be a lot more interesting if we could load the balls in a muzzle loader and then drive them to the green with a shot of black powder. From there, the putter would be perfect....

Guess I am going to have to stick to Nitro .... a black powder shotgun would probably get me thrown off of the golf course ..... but then running a Nitro truck there got me thrown off of the golf course too. Honest, I was nowhere close to anything that even remotely resembled an upkept portion of the golf course, some people have no sense of humor. BB

Im going to be 30 in a month and I wouldnt give up RC for anything especially golf.
At least she knows what your doing and your not out clubing.

Maybe your girl should take up Crocheting or something.

Get rid of the Girlfriend and enjoy your hobby. Women (in general) like to be controlling and want all your attention. I personally would rather be euthanized than to have to go golfing.

I'm also 29. Get a second R/C for her to drive. She would probably find out why this is such an addictive hobby! Most of us couldn't afford R/C's when we were teenagers, so that's why we have them at 20+. R/C's have become 10x better than they were 10-15 years ago also.

I'm 39 and I love my savage's. I bought my wife a savage 25 and she loves it. Remember what George Carlin says about golf. I can't repeat it here but you get the idea.

I am 36 married with two kids and work two jobs and i still find time to run R/C's I have been running R/C's since i was a little kid when the Taymia Frog first came out. ( it was my first ture R/C )
You are never to old to stop running R/C's I know of guys in their late 70's that fly R/C planes still.
Your only as old as you let your self feel and don't let others tell you that you are to old to do any thing you want to do.

Im 34 and have been both skateboarding 28 years and into the r/c hobby for 6 years now and its great.
My wife gives me moral support for me and all my hobbys and I do the same for her and the hobbys she does.
We have 3 kids 4 cats 1 dog and a snake and they all like the excitement that goes on around this house too.lol

If your Girlfriend / Wife does not give you moral support for you and your hobbys , then the relationship is not going to work.

Love , Trust , Support is key in any relationship.

This is just my opinion and hope it helps you with your question

Crocheting or something.Then when she is doing that,
tell her how old she is to be doing that and see how she feels. lol

33 here and i bought my wife a truck last year when the savage x4.6 came out.
She even helps me support this hobby. 2 kids and one dog and the oldest (5)
got a savage 25 for xmas. It's fun when all is involved.

Just made her a herbie body for her savy.
But she likes it so much she is keeping it as a shelf queen...... oh well her truck body!
Get her involved somehow it's easier and fun
