yeah what do you think of fireworks? are they too noisy, dangerous, destructive, waste of money... what? or like me do you think they are fun, enjoyable, and pretty and fun to ignite and watch

man in Madison the only things legal there are sparklers and snakes and thats it... no fountains, no smoke bombs, no jumping jacks... nothing... good thing i live in Fitchburg

only thing thats illegal here is anything that goes up into the sky or flies in general

i like fireworks but i think in the wrong hands they are very bad. (quite a childish sentence eh?)

i think things like m80's are over kill, when you have that much power you want to blow things up, turning a already dangerous thing into a grenade.

i especially like cakes, they are safe and dummy proof, and beautiful, but they cost 10-50 bucks a pop.

i think they are overpriced, but i think they are worth it once a year.

Ok, I think that fireworks are enjoyable when you only see them once per year such as new year where massive rockets are used and it looks amazing, otherwise its just anoying. My neighbours friend bought a huge firework, I would call it a Hydrogen bomb. Well the idiot didnt attacth it straight into the ground so when he lit it, it went through his fence and crashed into my friends house, all the windows of his house were smashed, and his parents were seriously burnt. His house also burnt down a bit.
They should introduce a scheme where only people with a license to posess dangerous fireworks may have them

i love fireworks, but most are illegal here in georgia. i went to south carolina a few years back and bought tons of stuff. it all lasted less than a week

in illinois its illeagle to buy them, in indiana its leagle to buy them but illeagle to blow them off.

that doesnt stop us though, if you do all the big stuff on the fourth, you wont get pinched, hell, a neighbor police officer came over to watch our display.

yea usually if it doesnt bother the neighbors and its not late at night then the cops really dont care. its just when the neighbors complain that the cops have to do something about it.

It's legal here, just not in Baton Rouge or New Orleans. We have probably 30 stands to get them from now, really fun, I don't see how there dangerous.

they are great. illegal in NC so we go to SC every year on our way to my brothers soccer games all over the south-east (Region 3 soccer level) and stock up. Mortars are so cool!

in 2 spots down here it is legal to have fireworks, IMO just watch the stuff the pros do, i can't think of all the stories of ppl being dumb and getting hurt... if you want to have a fun forth, and you do use fireworks, be safe with em[>:]

We used to spend 200 dollars a year on fireworks, probably not this year though.
I'm sure will get some to have some fun blowing up our money.

That's what it's all about right, buying those big Arttilery shells, and lighting up the sky with 'em.
I've always liked Jumpin Jacks for some were reason. They only last a few seconds though.[&o]
One time I opened a package of jumpin jacks and they blew up like cherry bombs. Sometimes you'll get duds too..[:@]

I like fireworks.

The only reason they're illegal is because some stupid kids/people started doing something they shouldn't with them. (that's the reason gun's are illegal in most places)

I like to watch fireworks, but besides bottle rockets I dont like to spend my money on them.

They're fun to watch, but in certain environments the risk simply isn't worth it. No amount of fun is worth risking human life and property over.

this year i got some ground bloom flowers with a report that pretty much expload like a stick of TNT would and this mortar thing that you stick fireballs into and its reloadable

Me too. I like the large displays that are shown over San Francisco. Sometimes the fog can put the kibosh to the show, but it's still a good time. You can see multicolored glowing fog! (That sounds like something from the '60s )

i love fireworks but they are pretty restricted here. we are allowed fountains and stuff but nothing that flies into the air and nothing that explodes. oregon on the other hand is only a couple hour drive from here[&:]

You guys talking about fireworks made me go buy some.
All this for 5 mere dollars. I thought that's quite alot for 5 dollars.
Moon Travelers(non-whistling), some of those flower things that shoot up in the air were like 1.25 buy one get one free.
The killer bee is one of my favorite fountains, those were also buy one get one free. Whistling Pete....also buy one get one free.
The clerk gave me a bonus thing of firecrackers, and 2 extra packs of moon travelers also, thought that was kinda nice.

Those snakes are here every year. Always a classic!

It seems that as displays become more elaborate, some of the older and simpler fireworks are overshadowed. I remember last year, sitting with family and everyone with a sparkler in their hand. It just brings a smile to my face.
