I never said they fit very well. I just like the functionality - it supports my tech side.

Orange Seiko dive watch (automatic) to add some color to the collection..
The giant Citizen (you want to talk about heavy?! LOL! ) is an EcoDrive..
Anyway, I stopped buying watches for myself awhile ago... cause it is a lot more expensive than RCs.. LOL! So now I only buy watches for others... [:@]

That's pretty good, Reiko.. it is a 6138-0011..
Yeah, my Omega is my standard go-to watch.. the 7750 inside is nothing spectacular, but it is a great workhorse type movement, never skip a beat!
The Sinn has the 5100.. that's a no-nonsense movement there..

It basically means that the aforementioned watch is SO great in every way, that it's comparable to mating.

Same here. Give me stainless anytime!
LB, I am totally jealous of your Panerai. I may have a small wrist, but I'll tell you what! I would wear that masterpiece every freakin' day.

When I was searching for my first watch (the Unknown Citizen) I was very picky and after a good year of searching, that one caught my eye. The Tissot PRC100 Titanium has some weight to it, but about 1/2 of the Citizen Calibre 8700.
Last night I was told I have a "watch fetish" because it seems that I've been looking at a lot of watches lately. It started shortly after this thread [:@]

Yeah, I like big and heavy watches.. LOL! But I stop buying them now.. kind of went through the phases, you know.. ha! But I do still have all those I posted above.. I am not much of a seller of anything.. (like my RCs.. LOL!!)
Mine is actually not a Panerai.. the PAM104 belongs to a friend of mine.. mine is a RXW.. it is a watch that's made by this Japanese collector that emulate the shape and look of the Italian navy dive watch from the 50s (which was made by Rolex, commissioned by Panerai?). The 104 is the standard 44mm, while the RXW I have is actually 47mm. I had a friend hand carried it from Japan for me when that watch came out a few years ago..
Panerai makes 47mm version as well, but the shape of the case and the size of the #s on the dial is a bit different than those from the vintage version..
But than, the Paneai die-hard would call me wearing a "fake"..

I have also been accused of being a fetishist (but never a horologist [X(]) because I have gone through close to 100 watches in the last 11-12 years. Only the few that I really appreciate hang around for more than a handful of months.
LB, I would never call that a fake. It is true of the similarity to the Luminor, but still it is its own animal. To be safe, however, I would keep it out of view of the Paneristi [:-]

Yeah, I try not to wear it when I go to a Panerai shop, LOL! But yeah, a very unique piece.. and the doomed crystal is closer to the original as well.. (not flat..)
