NXE (New Xbox Experience)
For those of you who own a Xbox 360 the new xbox experience is live. From what I can tell its pretty cool I'm installing gears of war 2 on my hard drive now. Avatars are kinda lame though.
Edit: Installs take around 7-10 minutes and makes the xbox so much quieter I'm definitely digging this.

You are now able to play games off the hard drive instead of using the disk drive making the xbox quieter. Do you own a xbox? When you put a game in it sounds really loud (for a disk drive)

i like it. you can have up to 8 people on a single chat. you can have a party in the dashboard so you dont lose your party when you change games. just all around better

The game disk still has to be in the drive, even though the data isn't being read from it.

is it free?? Im getting XBOX live today. I played GOW2 the other day and it was pretty cool, im more into COD, or battle field kinda games.

The only thing I like about this is the option to play games from the hard drive, this eats space but it's quieter and translates to faster load times.

Why did they do this? Pretty pointless and a waste of time. I don't like it much, the interface reminds of the PlayStation consoles.

The biggest plus is that I can use my Netflix account that I already had and stream episodes of the Office. IN HI - DEF!!! woot woot
