All that aside, Top Gear is one of the funniest shows I've ever watched. I love the "left handed"(or is it "right hand drive" ) view and the truly non-standard evaluations they do. My three favorites so far were the race from Trafalgar Square to Heathrow on bicycle, mass transit, and boat, the race from London to Stockholm (or was it Oslo?) via AMG Merc and Ferry, and the above mentioned Winter Olympics.
My only complaint is that when they quote prices for these cars, the only do it in British pounds. I think it would be nice to also give it in (declining value) American $$$$$$$.

Jeremy Clarkson is a jacka.ss.. He's constantly bashing any- and everything American. And he's got the typically British bad teeth himself to be a stereotype...
The show is good, but Clarkson is a w.anker.. His humor is lame, at best.. He also has terrible taste in cars.. Didn't he say once that his favorite car of all time was an '84 Golf GTI??
He's also a German-hater, and is constantly making anti-German comments.. Didn't he put the Bentley GT on the "un-cool" board??.. As if!!.... It just eats him up that RR and Bentley are now German-owned - not to mention that they are now good cars!!!...

That little guy is far more likeable..

Top Gear is probably the best show on right now. If you haven't seen their trip to Africa and their Trip to the US. Find them. I will have to watch the Olympic one online. Do ya think an American network will rip off this concept, I mean try this?

Top gear isnt really about cars, its a comedy programme, and to most people its very funny. i guess he does mock the americans and germans a fair bit but its just his way of making his audience laugh!

lol I love top gear. I dont have cable so I cant watch it on TV, but i download it to my computer. Oh, and I think I've watched every Top Gear UK episode, never really watched Top Gear Australia or Top Gear US...I like the american muscle car challenge and the african safari special and the vietnam special...and all the other ones...

All you need to know about top gear is to watch the episode when they dynoed a Shelby GT500 and were mocking it because it wasnt 500bhp at the rear tires. Any idiot knows the rated power for any brand car is crank horsepower.
The show normally is pretty funny but the bashing of anything not british is pretty tiresome considering until 07/08 Ford owned Jag, Aston, and Rover which are the majorority of the world wide UK car brands.
