it woud be funny if tamiya made a 1:1 kit car. 5000 dollars, requires 2.4 litre engine, steering columb, steering wheel, fi system or carburator to mach engine.

what is it with cars today? my 1/1 has the engine managment light come and and wont stop beeping, i think its only running on 3 cylinders.. its slow as hell and sounds terrible [:@]
then i go to run my Cayenne (Mamba Max start power set to high) and its slow as heck, the gearing is on the smallest pinion, i think my batteries are wasted, i only charged them like two days ago [:@]
oh, and then i go to test the TRF (just to check the Mamba system on the Cayenne isnt faulty) and it wont even recognise the TX... so i go to reset.. it recognises the forward setting, recognises the reverse setting, but doesnt stop beeping when neutral is seleted (meaning it hasnt recognised it) [:@]

lee just play with the trim and subtrim"if you have it" when its searching for neutral itll setup sometimes different radios need trim one way or the other with the max controllers
on another note.. any of you uber tamiya guys "lee LB secret" have a gear set for a stadium blitzer lying around? lol.. i found one on ebay but the dude wants 20$ plus 12 shipping

Lee, by "reset", do you mean you re-calibrated your MM ESC with the different Tx? If so, I would think that would do the trick.
Also, when you moved the MM ESC to a different vehicle to test, were the batteries/motor different? If so, maybe there's a CastleLink setting specific to your other vehicle setup (LiPo cutoff but you're running NiMh, something else) that's goofing you up.
Hope you figure it out!

No spare Stadium Blitzer gears.. but have NIB Stadium Blitzer available.. but I doubt that's what you are looking for!
You can get the gears from TamiyaUSA directly, maybe?!
$32 for just the gear shipped seems pretty high to me!
