on another note.. any of you uber tamiya guys ''lee LB secret'' have a gear set for a stadium blitzer lying around? lol.. i found one on ebay but the dude wants 20$ plus 12 shipping
the only place that has them is here: http://www.modellbau-seidel.de/index...rs.50453-#bild

and shipping would be pricey (10 Euro's) though its the same no matter how many parts you order..

Lee, by ''reset'', do you mean you re-calibrated your MM ESC with the different Tx? If so, I would think that would do the trick.

Also, when you moved the MM ESC to a different vehicle to test, were the batteries/motor different? If so, maybe there's a CastleLink setting specific to your other vehicle setup (LiPo cutoff but you're running NiMh, something else) that's goofing you up.

Hope you figure it out!
its been ages since i used the TRF, and when i turned on the MM, it didnt arm fully.. the Cayenne and the TRF, both have MM ESC's, and i tried two different (recently charged) batteries, i think i'll buy a new GP stick pack and see how i go with that..

also i did try setting the start power to high on the Cayenne, which made no difference..

Lee, running on 3 cylnders?! You better get that checked out ASAP! That doesn't sound good!! [:@]

guess i spoke to soon on the RC10. It has stripped (partly) one of the internal "idler" gears... don't feel like spending the money to replace all the bushings with bearings.... so it will sit for now, problem is the bushings in there are so sloppy that they cause the gears to jam a lot causing all my issues. Guess it helps to have a good tranny [>:]

It came with bushings... back in the day i didn't know about AVID RC..... sooo now im debating getting bearings more well see, still seems more cost effective to just get a more modern car [>:]

it isnt. back in the '80's they made the cars tuffer so that parts would last longer, if you get a new car instead of fixing this one you will spend more money on replacement parts and besides, it would be around $150 for a new motor, esc, radio, tires & rims f&r, a body and paint as apose to $230 for a b4 rtr

I have everything to make a "new" kit run MINUS the kit . I am debating it, you do have a point on durability, man idea is, don't crash [8D]

Yeah I changed mine to bearings when I got the kit along time ago because I knew if I didnt get them when I got the kit, I wasnt going to get them at all or anytime soon.

You should take a break from it and go back to it later get, the gears before they stop selling them though
