I like the size of it, being a dslr and all. I have used some of those huge dslr's no good for carrying around.
The price cant be beat too. $450 with a lens. I think there will be a lot of rc action photography this summer for you guys to see

Checked out your semi thread Lee and now I think I need one! Only problem is that the Baja takes all of my money and hides it from me. I found a Testors Decal maker on tower for cheap. They are only waterslide decals like 1:24 models use, but the system is way cheaper than getting custom vinyl ones made. I made some and just put some scrap clear from the sheets that come with the kits over them and they hold up better.

Hey TEX, ever pay LB the money you ripped him off?

Oh well. Been kinda busy over here. I'm mad because none of my packs seem to want to hold a charge anymore. [:@] Not sure what happened to them but I'm sure it's due to my general n00bness.
It's finally starting to warm up a little here, although it's still 20-40 out at night. At least the days are approaching or even exceeding 60, so that's nice. Those long, warm summer days are just around the corner!!!

RE: THE LOUNGE 3...
I have a general RC question (for electric vehicles) - what purpose does a (one speed) transmission serve? I know it does gear reduction, but is that it?
In looking at the Durga, you have the spur turning a smaller gear directly, which turns the belts, which turn the F/R diff pulleys. No transmission though, right? I must be missing something...

Yeah, gear reduction.. and sometimes, just for packaging reasons.. i.e., you want the motor here, and want the driveshaft here, and here you got more room, etc.

LB - I saw Slumdog, and really liked it. I fully expected not to (since movies that get a lot of awards and tend to be over-hyped)....but I did enjoy it quite a bit. I like how it all unfolded. Neat movie.

RE: THE LOUNGE 3...
Ive been hearing so much about SlumDog. Is it worth the watch? I was told its about a boy who used his his memory of past events to answer questions correctly on "Who Wants to be a Millionaire"?
Sounds kinda silly to be honest...
