i've been running this pack to lvc for about 6 months, it puffed because i let it sit for a month or so with no charge then ran it forgetting it wasnt charged. my lvc is set for 3.4v so i dont see any risk.

I did have one of my LiPo puffed.. I forgot to charge it and ran it too low when showing the Blizzard to a guy who was buying stuff from me.. at least that's what I think did it in.. ha!

One of my friends has that device. And you are right, it is a very handy device to have. Even when it comes to reading nimh and nicd batts. It gives very accurate readings.
