I had one of these back in the day. (Not really by choice.) It actually handled the snow very well, and most repairs were easy and inexpensive. But with this car, the girls weren't!

Ive had better luck with my Ford Ranger 1998. Got it in 2005.

First 3 pictures Ugly Ford Pinto and I read brefily about the Ford Pinto and they were rust prone,
very unsafe vechicles because the way they were designed. Probably the worst car Ford made.
Dont get me wrong im a Ford owner and I beileve the old chevy box cars were even uglier...[:-]

Now this is just butt-ugly.
In my home state of Texas, you would have to have a CDL to drive that, just because it has more than 2 axles!

ThunderbirdJunkie's dad had a Pinto that got creamed by a semi. Then his next pinto got squashed by:
An International pickup truck
A Bronco (fullsize)
A Chevy duallie
ThunderbirdJunkie was in 50% of these accidents.
We're both still alive
That car didn't give up the ghost till nearly 3 rolls of the odometer.

My uncle was riding in his friends pinto once years ago when it was rear ended. He was freaking out trying to open the door but it was jammed. Luckily his friend got it fixed so it didnt blow up after being rear ended.

40 years later, people still only cite the pinto for catching fire on rearend collisions.
Nevermind the GM A and G bodies that had the filler neck IN the rear bumper that would leak gas all over the place[&:]
