Default Random Rant

Who decided cars need carpet floors? Its probably the worst flooring choice for that environment. It just absorbs anything that gets past the floormat, wears out like crazy, and looks like crap within 3 weeks of shampooing. You would think that 90% of people using a rubber floormat would be a giveaway to the engineers. I'm tempted to go medieval on my car with some boxcutters and spray the floor with bedliner. Its a good thing stores are closed today.

Pssh, I dont need the extra speed. That 160 hp/3350 lbs is already an insane power/weight ratio.

In all honesty though I think the carpets are more of a noise isolation and temperature insulation thing.

I'm dead serious. You ever driven an L82 equipped 4 door sedan? I'm talking about the M code L82, not that POS Camaro L-82. I can blow the doors off any Ford Focus and chicks love my 2 tone (metallic blue and primer) paint job.
