you always get one...

beautiful car Eric, and i am jealous, being a mad Porsche fan also..

one thing though, i'm not too sure on the rear number plate bit (surround?) it ruins a perfect car, but it is your car and not mine..

You are talking about the frame of the license plate? Dealer always put one there so they get some advertisement.. (the frame typically says the name of the dealership) Can always take it out... I haven't done anything yet... !

That's wild... rotary engine on a race chassis.. !

I need something that I can still drive a street.. I doubt that will be approved by DOT here in US!!

Can't beat the engine note, though.. LOL! That's wild!

I wish I was picking up this one... (Carrera GT)

I will settle for the GT3, though.. ha!
Well, you've still got a couple Carrera GT TB-02's, right? Guess that will have to do...But the GT3 is quite a nice car. I can't really tell the difference between Porsches besides the 911 shape, older slant-nose and the Carrera GT, those are pretty much the only 3 shapes. and of course the speedster...

I gotta agree with you. That thing was singing the 26b song!! Cant beat the sound of a rotary imo.

Congratulations on the GT3 though! Have fun with it, just dont have too much fun now, hehe!

Oh, its all good though. The Porsche is what matters. Not the power. But you know sometimes it does. But in this case the only thing that matters is the fact that you got your Porsche!! Congrats! Have any plans for changing looks, power, racing, or anything?

Get the hell outta here. You got a GT3, arguably the ULTIMATE drivers car, no other car more involving to drive, and you're not hardcore enough? Not bragging enough more like... Take your position on the pedestal amongst owners of some of the best cars in existence, period. Congratulations bud, really, must be a dream come true. [sm=thumbs_up.gif][sm=cool.gif]

Thanks Foxy! I appreciate it.. yeah, it is like a dream comes true for me.. it is a plan 2.5 yrs in the making.. so I always knew what I was going to get, just don't know when.. !

Figured that you'd appreciate the rawness of the GT3.. no traction control, no stability control, no sound dampening material, no back seats, etc. And I know you like high rpms.. ha!

Thanks Eman! Yeah, all the race cars that Porsche makes leave the factory in white.. (the Cup cars, RSRs, etc.) So I figured that I'd stick w/ white..

Also, less people pay attention to ya! On my way home, I saw at least 12 speed traps.. no tickets.. !

For sure if I have a yellow one, it would be tickets all over!! [:@]

Really? I had no idea about the white being standard in their race cars. Cool of you to stick to that standard in your choice.

Nice Dante.. the classic you got looks to be in great condition!! That's awesome..

Yes, my parents are in town visiting (leaving tomorrow, actually) so I grabbed my dad and he went to pick up the car w/ me.. 900 miles of father / son bonding time.. !! Nice!!

(but it also means that I didn't get to open it up much, ha ha!!)
