Funny MODIFIED vehicles
Do we need another "car" thread?
Yeah probably.
This one will be dedicated to MODIFIED cars only.
No Lambo's, no "My-supercar-is-better-than-your-supercar" talk.
Just Modified cars, trucks, motorbikes, tractors or whatever you can find.
Fast, cool, ugly, tall, low, wide, amazing paintjobs, oversized engines - if it has it, post it here!
Here's a couple of my fav's from the Tube.

RE: Funny MODIFIED vehicles
Well, since you mentioned tractors...
I guess I have to post my hillbilly snowplow.
I got this 18HP Craftsman tractor for free and planned on lawnmower racing with it.
Being 18HP it was in the class that costs alot of cash to get into so that plan got scrapped.
Instead I took all the scrap metal and used auto parts I could find and made the hillbilly snowplow.
The plow blade, A-frame, and all the linkage is made entirely from used auto parts heated bent and welded together.
I did the entire thing by eyeballing it. No measurements were taken.
The oxy torch did have to be used a few times to rearrange the design.
But the first test run was a huge success and it plowed the snow all winter despite the leaky tires.
(I reseated the bead on one tire with ether and got a little happy with the explosives.)
Here is the walkthru of what the design looks like.

The first run, it was working so good I had to grab the cam and refuel.

RE: Funny MODIFIED vehicles
Japanese weirdness
The " PINK LADY " VW Bug.
(Not japanese)
Complete with rotating seats, minibar, rotating mirror ball and BETAMAX videorecorder.
Read more about it [link=http://www.vwboxerclub.de/daten/kurioses/pinklady/index.htm]HERE[/link]
This is true oldschool custom where everything is either chromed, upholstered or airbrushed.
All the bodywork is made from sheet metal and handcrafted by the builder.
I used to have this on a poster on my bedroom wall when I was a kid, and to this day I have not seen a more outrageous and absolutely mindblowing custom car.

RE: Funny MODIFIED vehicles
those exhaust pipes or just steam?
I like the toilet...I would drive that to school every day!
I think I may have started all these car threads (4 now?I might have to make another)...sad how my thread with the most posts in it on RCU is in the off-topic section...

I agree, but I wanna see it do more than sit there and rev!

I haven't found one yet anyway.
Miss the snow, what snow are you from?
Left there in 1995 and have travelled around a fair bit since.
Living in Australia since 2002.
Can't complain though - live 5 mins walk from the beach surrounded by palmtrees.
The picture postcard view of paradise in a European's eyes.....
Still - I miss the proper 4 seasons we used to have when I was a kid.
Only had one non-white X-mas in the 21 years I lived in Sweden.
40 degrees and 80% humidity on Xmas eve will never feel right......
