RE: Post your pet
OK, I'll try this again...
Here is Rascal, she will be 11 in May. We have had her since she was a kitten.
And here is Big Brown (as named by my daughter). He is a 27lb Maine Coon that we rescued from a shelter a year ago. He is estimated to be 6 years old right now.
They still don't like each other, but both are loved very much by the rest of the family!

Chloe (the calico one, Cat from my mother and laws litter, also best mannered cat ever) and Sally ( the gray one, rescued cat, I think I know why the previous owners husband said he was going to kill her, she has been hard to train)
Sahara, cat from southern pride savannahs, she is an F-4 and a rambunctios animal, loves to play and stir trouble, she would love to go swimming in the fish tank or get outside to get after those squirrels and birds

Haha she is very hard on the drywall but is a very fun pet. She follows my wife all over the house like a dog. We haven't seen a mouse in the house yet

My 7yr old dog Foxy
Here's a pic of her from this Saturday 16 hours after getting her front leg amputated due to cancer
Shes the reason all my RC projects are put on hold.
What really sucks is she had a tumor removed on that leg a few weeks prior, and it just healed. (they sent the tumor in and came back cancerous, biopsy prior to the surgery was inconclusive)
Basically what it cost to keep her alive I could have bought 5 baja 5b's.
But hell shes worth it though best damn dog I've owned.
She is VERY high in the pic from pain killers. After the pic she was spinning her head looking at the food bowl like it was moving. Now she's nowhere near as high and very alert.

RE: Post your pet
I know the feeling one of my dogs is over 12 years old.
He's got cataracks in his eyes and has about half of his vision...
I think he's going deaf as well, but I clap and he does respond. So maybe not..
He's a pomeranian thou, those kinda dogs live 20 years...
I think it's just old age. He wont let anyone in the house pick him up but me.
Everytime my mom does he bites her. So she makes me put him out to pee.
He's an inside dog thou, always been. And he's my best freind. My dog Braxton

RE: Post your pet
Pomeranian's I think are like chihuahua's and very territorial of their owner so that is probably why he bites.
Like my dads chihuahua is VERY territorial if shes out, and you would look at one of us she will show all her teeth. She also hates my brother with a passion, and bears her teeth at him non-stop the whole time he's here when he stops by(most dogs hate him though).

RE: Post your pet
Thoguht I would necro this thread and show off our newest addition. She is currently 13 weeks old, we got her when she was 6 wks. Her mom is a Russian Blue, and her dad is a mammoth garfield colored stray over at my moms house. For scale, that is my size 13 slipper she is laying on haha Anyways, those of you into Afro Samurai can appreciate the name "Ninja Ninja", and we are now searching for a black one the same or similar age to name Afro!
Oh and the pic of her laying on her back was at about 7 weeks, in front of the TV stand at 8-9 if I recall correctly

RE: Post your pet
We've recently aquired a new mutt.
She was found wandering the streets around our place and as there's no animal rescue shelter here in town any more, just the council pound, we decided to keep her here until we located the owner.
The council only keep dogs/cats for 2 weeks or so, and then they're put to sleep if nobody's claimed them.
We reported her to the council and put up a couple of notices in the local shops and also on the Facebook lost/found page.
After 6 weeks or so I got a call from a lady saying she knew where she came from.
Long story short, she'd been passed on a few times and nobody wanted her back, so she's staying here.
She's a lovely dog and get on well with our other pooch.
Also likes to chase the sprinkler

That mutt my friend I bet is 80% Pitbull, You can see it all in the face, muzzel and jaw, also that nice mid-air belly shot is a dead give away with them huge hind legs.
Edit, Looking at the pics again, I'd say she is almost pure Pitt'. Blue ( more common called 'Grey' ) Pittbull to be exact.
( My 8year old Staffy Pitt )

We just reached our two cat limit a few days ago, I picked up another kitten to keep our Ninja Ninja entertained. The new one is, of course, named Afro haha And, of course, a YouTube clip for those of you scratching your heads at the names!

The lady I spoke to, who was the daughter of the original owner, said she was advertised as "Purebred Staffy" but she's definitely cross whatever she is.
Very thin soft fur, unlike any Staffy or Pitbull I've ever seen.

I'd say black Lab, they are very popular to breed/mix with Pitt's.
