I dunno but it is annoying. Maybe the moderator got tired of all the gibberish talk and decided to lock it up for a bit.

Probably got too big, like the second Lounge. If you look, Foxy himself created the Lounge3 for that very reason (he states so in the first post there - so technically, it's not LB's thread). He also posts there on occasion.
I'm sure there's a good reason for it, and doubt it's something as insidious as "posts were too short" or "meaningless". I've gotten a lot of useful info from that thread - and seen FAR less useful info in other topics in this off-topic forum area, and even in the on-topic offroad forum area.

The thread is a good release for all the members that would otherwise babble about nothing in 150 new threads instead of in there. That's why it's the only thread of its like that has been allowed. This was an agreement reached a long time ago between mods and members, as certain members they felt off topic wasn't 'off topic' enough for them (posts were and still are removed for total randomness).
I don't know why it was locked. Surely a glitch or something. I've unlocked it for now...
