Default Best deal around for external hard drives?

Hey computer buffs got a question for you.

I need a relatively smaller-medium sized external hard drive for photos from my camera starting to clog up my laptop and desktop. Looking at 300-500 gb. This is what I came up with, looking for a name brand only as when I used to build cheap pc's the no name hard drives failed and this data is kind of important.

Seagate 500 mb, 62 bucks

Would like to spend under 90 if possible, thanks guys wasn't sure if anyone knew any better deals out there.

Heres is a western digital pasport. Its 320GB but its really small form factor. Only needs a USB cable to run, no power connector. So its great for portability.

I wouldn't get anything from I/O Magic (i think that's what they are called), as I have used some of their products (external HDD) and they werent very good

For what it's worth, I'm a big, big fan of Western Digital drives, with respect to reliability.

Auto, I'm not sure if it fits into your budget, but what about an external RAID setup, so that if a drive fails, your data remains intact? Or are those out of budget for you? (I have not priced them myself).

I'll check into it Eman, but I was really looking for something inexpensive really, but name brand like Western Digital for the reliability. I don't need tons of room either as its for my photography only, but I'll look into it.

Thanks for the advice guys!

Get the pass port dude! Its made by Western Digital and it only needs the USB cable. No power supply.

Yeah, Western Digital has a pretty good rep. I have a 1.5 TB external (picked up at a rummage for only $75) and a 320GB external.
