The first one is chri.
The second one is stmas.
guess we'll never know the true meaning. The only thing we DO know is that Rudolph the Blue Nosed JeepDeer carries ThunderbirdJunkie around the world delivering gifts to those of all ages and creeds.
And if you didn't get anything from him it's probably because he's cheap

Im not trying to start an argument, but it is Christmas, and if you dont believe in Christ, then it isnt the same holiday that we are celebrating IMO.

The words "under god" was added in 1954 by congress. According to one of my history teachers I had he said "it was to combat the evil non christian socialists"(he really loved talking like that, great guy royally funny).
And "In God We Trust" was added around the civil war due to the high religious sentiment of the people at the time.
BTW Xmas lands on the last day of a Roman pagan week long holiday named Saturnalia. (read up on it thing sounded like a blast, a full week of complete anarchy) http://www.simpletoremember.com/vita...eRealStory.htm Hell even the 1st Christmas's sounded like a blast compared to current
