Question: Are we allowed to change driving aid settings? I didn't change a thing and I'm driving automatic. I'm going to give it another try.

Ah found it in arcade mode too, manual gears all driving aids off. Best time was a 2.05.819
Wow thats a tough car on that track, so hard to keep momentum up and so easy to understeer.

For my laps I think the time to be made up is after the long down hill just before the railroad tracks, I either brake to early or to late.

The key to making a good time is obviously all in the corners, braking at the right point is essential. Brake fully and release brake slowly as you steer into apex of turn...apply throttle as necessary.
I put a picture of my time below.

Seeing how this is a RC site and we all play with toys maybe we should break out the old school Nintendos and play R/C Pro Am instead. I still have mine!

The only part you have to be careful on that track is the wind turbulance. I have almost flipped my Alfa Romeo 166 Lol. Btw thats a great car!

Manual is definitely the way to go. I'll have to remove more of my driving aids too. Seattle circuit is actually one of my favorites.
Does anyone know the best way to get ghost replays onto here? It won't let me put them onto a flash drive. I'll have to figure something out. I trust you guys, but it would be great to see everyone's driving.
I added a challenge for everyone too. This is fun!

RE: Favorite Gran Turismo Car
i wish i still had the ps2 so i could get my numbers. i know i had gold in all license test except for the S class. had half done but some of them are just crazy hard. My times went way down when i got my steering wheel but after doing 2 of the 24 hour races I had to stop playing. (did them straight through).
I don't know how fast my times were but I know that with GT5 I have been in the top 100 on most tracks and cars but now with the latest Demo I could barely break into the top 1000 - on the other hand i dont have my wheel anymore and think that would help a ton. G27 once GT5 gets released.
Favorite car had to be the GT one race car in Gran Turismo 3 - when I was young and just wanted to do crazy fast laps. Also you could tune the car to do over 1000 mph hahahhahhaha.

The problem with that is that even if someone buys it and sends you the replay file, you still need to buy one also to get the replay from your pc to memory card.[:'(]
The only other way would be to mail the other person your memory card. It really is one of the most annoying things with GT4 especially as you can just transfer replays to usb drive on Tourist Trophy, which is basically the same game but with motorbikes...anyone else got TT?
