Canada Dry Ginger Ale is the most popular of Canada Dry's products, and probably the most well recognized brand of ginger ale in North America. HOW MANY HAVE YOU HAD?

Canada Dry Cola (Syria)
Canada Dry Tonic Water
Canada Dry Bitter Lemon
Canada Dry Diet Tonic Water
Canada Dry Lemon Soda
Canada Dry Tahitian Treat (now just Tahitian Treat)
Canada Dry Spur Cola, Hi-Spot, Apple, Tutti (cherry and fruit punch), Wink, and Orange (retired from Panama)
Canada Dry Golden Cockerel Ginger Beer

Sussex Golden Ginger Ale
Sparkling Green Tea Ginger Ale
Cranberry Ginger Ale
Diet Cranberry Ginger Ale
Lemon Ginger Ale (retired)
Canada Dry Flavored Sparkling Seltzer Water (Orange, Lime, Raspberry, Cherry)
Canada Dry Cream Soda (Limited availability in US, UAE and Kuwait)
Pineapple Canada Dry (limited US availability)
Peach Canada Dry (limited US availability)
Black Cherry Wishniak (limited US availability)
Island Lime (limited US availability)
Wild Cherry (limited US availability, only available in 2-litre bottles. Bright red colour as opposed to a deep red/purple hue for the Black Cherry Wishniak)
Pink Grapefruit Canada Dry (available in Peru only)
At one time, Canada Dry also produced a wider range of flavored sodas, including orange, grape, Jamaica Cola, Cactus Cooler, and Sport Cola (caffeine-free), but many of these are no longer available.

RE: Canada dry or Vernors?
Unfair comparison... CD is sold everywhere, while Vernors is more of a "local" favorite. They have it in MI? I thought it was a Dayton, OH local thing....lol
Oh, and by the way, Vernors and a Cassanos pizza is God's favorite meal....
Now... if you want a REAL comparison.... Ginger or Marianne? lol

RE: Canada dry or Vernors?
I used to drink Vernors as a kid growing up in Buffalo N.Y. and had not seen it for years since moving to Georgia in the 70's. Spotted it on the gocery store shelf recently and bought several bottles, (still good stuff). Canada dry ginger ale is also very good and I buy it too. Heires (sp?) root beer is another good soft drink from the old days. Is that still made? Here in Georgia we are in "Coke Country" but I enjoy some variety in my coke, soda, soft drink, pop or wharever you call it!

vernors is one of my favorite sodas, however, because its aged, sometimes you get a weak batch, and sometimes you get a really strong one, but thats part of the fun. you also cannot breath in when your taking a sip, because it makes you cough.
canada dry is good too, its cleaner tasting and a little more refreshing, but the flavor is conventional compared to vernors.
so i will say vernors is my favorite.

Vernors all the way.
If any of you are ever in the Grand Rapids, MI area, check out The Meanwhile bar on the corner of Wealthy St. and Diamond. They have a signature drink called the Vern Ehlers, named after the Michigan politician, and it is made with Vernors.
You can also buy this shirt there:

RE: Canada dry or Vernors?
Vernors started shipping to other areas of the country several years ago.
The only problem is they went to plastic bottles and cans instead of the glass bottles. There is a slight difference in taste, and big difference in CO2 levels. The current vernors is good, but the glass bottled version was great.
Those who have had both will understand!
