What would you do if you became a millionare
Ill start this off by saying if i became a instant millionare, i would pay off all my current debts , buy a big chunk of land build a massive old style mansion on it , build the biggest walk in humidor in it have my own arcade in it , and a massive garage with a bunch of supercars , with my own burnout skid pad , then maybe open up some personal bussiness. BUT most of all i would tell my boss to go shove it before i did all that ha ha ha .

Put most of it in a high yield interest bearing account. Take what I need to buy a nice house with a good bit of land. Set up a nice man cave/workshop in the garage, build a recording studio in one of the rooms and carry on doing what i do from home...[&:]

Buy some more rental properties, put some in the bank, and travel a little bit..
Oh yeah, maybe club race a vintage 911..

i would buy a couple cool cars, (viper,cobra,vertigo,Griffith 500) take up automotive engineering and then pack up and move to Australia and get a modest little home.
the thing is with money, a million can support life for a long time if you live within your means, however, if you are a millionaire a million doesnt go far, typically the house,cars, boats utilities eat that up. the more i make, the less i spend.

Invest or put away some of it, that way it'll be there after I make an inevitable stupid decision. After that probably move, buy a good chunk of land, build a nice house with an indoor ice rink, gaming room, a nice garage with a nice room devoted to my RC and paintball stuff, buy a goddamned Nissan Skyline R34, and take swimming lessons. I wouldn't mind starting a business either, though now might not be the best time to do so.

I would pay off my student loans. Then, if there was any left, I go out to dinner. Probably couldn't do much more than Arbys, but still, it would be a nice way to celebrate my brief time with that much money...

if i was a multi millionare i'd buy back losi and restore it's good name, that includes getting gill jr back. lol (rc nerd for life yo!)
i'd sell my house and buy a bigger one with alot of land. with that land i would build alot of silly crap, rc tracks included.
i'd fill my garage with vintage vw's and porsches.
i'd pay off my family and friendsmortgages.
i'd buy a distillery.
i'd buy a luxury box at the new giants stadium.
if i just had a million dollars, i wouldn't change a thing other than paying off my current house and invest the rest (very conservitively!)

make sure my true friends dont go short, 'invest' in a lot of hydaulic RC's, buy a few houses, buy 5 or 6 cars (for different purpose obviously) [8D]

Unfortunately a million isn't what it used to be. But I would pay off my debt and buy a humble house in a nice area and pay it off in full, then invest the rest.

it would depend on how many millions i won.a million bucks where im from is like a house and a new car after taxes.
first id build a new engine for my car and have the trans rebuilt.buy a new truck .start my own custom car shop.and hopefully still have enough to buy a cheap starter house.

The subject on this thread should be changed to "How to lose a million dollars."
I wouldn't blow it away on foolish luxuries, knowing it's far more hassle than pleasure to own excess. I would NEVER park a million dollars in any bank, it's not insured, and you can't get interest in this economy that makes it worth while. Money makes money if you know how. You turn that cash into more cash. The only way to do that is manufacture something or provide a service that you researched and tested to be a lucrative endeavor.
The last thing I'd do is leave in USD too. I'd probably leave the country with it and see from afar what happens to the US in the next 10 years. I think things are going to get far worse.
I've talked to millionaires, and they stayed that way not changing their lives inside out with extravagant things.

They have a show on TV called how the lotto changed my life. they follow lotto winners and see how they do with the winnings. I would say 75% end up broke in a few years.
