Rotating Airplane wing size
I have a question. On a twin engine Aircraft do I want the right prop turning left and the left prop turning right.Thinking the P. factor could though air inward and giving more flow over inside top of the wing and helping with lift.It would at least keep lift equal on both sides.Look at this Aircraft and tell me if you think it matters at all? It's a rotating Airplane wing?

RE: Rotating Airplane wing size
What is counteracting the torque of the wing? In a hover the drag of the wing bearing will try to turn the bottom with the wing. Forward motion will help some, but without the wheels on the ground to maintain stability just after liftoff could be exciting. Most of the work is done by the wingtips which are already covered by the props. Since they are electric why not use counterrotation. Can't hurt.

RE: Rotating Airplane wing size
Not so you can have couter rotating blades using the down draft an airplane can rotate left or right completly vertical using the airlerons with down draft and these are airfoils designed just for that purpose controlling Heading or Axis
