i got some cheap category 4 out of 5 ones from the servo. going to use the 5/5 ones for the next pair since they are darker. oh and i make sure that they are mirrored since that helps alot but doesnt cut the glare and reflections out like polarized for gliding

For protection against miscreants, my Glock 20SF, 29, 30S or 43, depending on where else I am going, but normally the Glock 30S, which is always on my hip under my shirt or jacket, when I leave home.
For eye protection, Wiley-X sunglasses, unless I am wearing my progressive transition eyeglasses.
For sun protection, usually sunscreen and always a wide-brimmed hat.
For other types: "This is my weapon. This is my gun. This is for fighting. This is for fun". I got the V-snip/snip a number of years ago, so I don't need no other protection.
