I'm a professional poultry re-location engineer.

In other words...I'm a truck driver that hauls live chickens to the processing plant so you can have all the Chicken Mcnuggets that you want.

Not a glorious job, but someone has to do it[:'(]

........ hauls live chickens to the processing plant

I never understood how those chickens could keep their feathers throughout the trip in those open coops on the trailer. Seems like you'd have a bunch of bald chickens at the "end of the line":)

I'm a Registered Nurse, worked in the Operating Room for almost 24 years. Sowega, I hope your back is in better shape than mine. Statistically, nurses and truck drivers have the highest incidence of job-related back injuries of any professions. I primarily work with neurosurgeons and orthopedic surgeons, "fixing" necks and backs.

I'm a Server Engineer for a Health care system. My Group runs the Exchange servers for 60 hospitals.

Before I turned to the dark side (supporting Microsoft systems) I was a Producer/Director for a CBS affiliate.

TV was fun but there's not much money on the production side, the hours suck if you are doing news production and holidays are just days you get overtime.
Nothing sucks worse then having to miss Christmas dinner to go direct the 6oclock news.

Free passes to football games and media pit passes to racing was nice :)

you said "biggest hangar/most expensive planes" I can fit a full size C-130 or 3 fullsize A-10's in my hangar, and there are millions of $$$ worth of plane in there at the time... of course neither the hangar nor the planes are really mine (in fact they are as much yours as mine assuming you pay your taxes). but does that count?

I'm a one man sign shop owner that produces computer aided sign and vehicle lettering. At times, I use paint as well to get the job done. Being able to build wooden signs has helped me transfer that knowledge to rc airplane kit building. I startrd this hobby in 1999 and I'm 43 now....I really wish I started 20 years earlier. It's so much fun! To see what I do instead of only reading about it, visit me at www.makuchalsigns.com

We had a driver get pulled over by a D.O.T. officer when he saw feathers coming off the truck...the officer thought it was litter:D
Fortunately, after 15 years, I still have a strong back...it's my mind that I'm worried about!:D

Tim C,
My wife and I honeymooned on a cruise ship, where we were assigned dinner seating with four other couples. The first night we all took turns introducing ourselves. One of the men gave his name, home town, and occupation - a boilermaker. One of the youg brides from Indiana (a pretty blonde) said, "You're a boiler maker?! Me too! What year did you graduate?"[sm=confused_smile.gif]

Retired Battery design & application engineer. Support my hobby by maintaining free battery information web site, and writing trivia about batteries and chargers that everyone in the free world should already know. Doing product reviews on chargers and related hardware also nets about 12½ cents an hour . . . . if you don't count the mini bags low calorie pop corn consumed.

RE: What does everybody do for a living??

Well, I started off as a janitor in a state employment office, spent 4 years in the USAF, 9 years as an auto mechanic (Early years with both NATCB and ASE Certs) survived almost 2 years on an auto assembly line, and for the last 26+ years, been in product development engineering for a tier one supplier to the truck manufacturers. This current job includes holding a CDL, so I get to sometimes drive a rig around the country, or scare myself silly on a test track.
