So the consumer has to put in the hinges? Looks great congrats guys/
Comes with full hardware pack including hinges too.

Can I put a 61 FX in it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!???????
Weight of the plane should be no greater then 4.25 pounds with OS/TT .46. But yes you can use a .61 motor on it.

.61 weight minus .46 weight and add 4.25. That will be your approx weight.

I might be off.

I'm also gonna have to balance... so weight might go up. I'm used to overpowered planes. I have a Saito 180 in a U-Can-Do 60!!!![sm=punching.gif]

If your going to put a Saito 1.8 in Funtana .90 you'll get better wing loading with OMP Yak.

Now I know everyone will say I'm crazy ... but it I personally had Saito 1.80 it would go in 65" Yak before 80" Yak. I like mine overpowered. My 79" Yak has BME 50 and 80" Edge has a MVVS 2.15.

We've got reports of the 65" Yak with G23 and G26 and flying just fine.

A G26 ina 65" plane. this I gotta see. Well thanks Now ya got me thinking. theres like 1 nillion Funtanas at our feild and everyone sais they fly good 3D but not straight worth a crap. Might have to try a 65" Yak

Does it break apart aas easily as it does on the sim? Om the Sim it breaks apart in a snap-roll

Won't break apart in the air unless you get hit with a Funtana midair![X(]

No ... there is a parameter setting in AFPD that you can set the self destruct ... it's set WAYYYY to low. I've yet to see one bust up in the air and personally .... I've tried my best to do it.

I would definitely choose a 65" Yak over a Funtana--- period no questions. I would have purchased one (65" Yak) this month, but I had to buy my wife a plane ticket to the UK (1,300.00). Will be purchasing one next month though. Have a YS 1.20SF to put on it. BTW- The YS weighs as much if not more than the 1.80 you have.

Just get the 65" Yak arf. They are way better than the F90. The saito 180 will be fine. Just a tad overpowered. Plus if you are just learning, what a great plane to fix up anyways. ITS A PROFILE. They are tuff and way easy to fix.

Yes I have a YS120fz in mine. It flies fine. Just a tad nose heavy and will have to add a couple oz. of lead to the end. Oh well. I've got tons of power..... It floats in great.

There is no comparison between the F90 and the 65" yak. the F90 is nothing more than a sport plane and the Yak is an all-out 3D monster! I ordered me an OMP 47" Edge i should be getting soon

I think this is a safe place to say this...you won't learn to do anything but hover with a UCD. They are terrible at harriers (probably the most fundamental 3D move), awful at knife edge (hi-alpha). Sell that thing to a sport flier and get yourself a fully capable 3D machine. The 65 Yak blows the UCD away.

I get you don't get this. Not trying to start a war but....
I don't care if the Yak was better.

Yak=$200
UCD=Free

Faster, you don't get it, most people would rather PAY for a plane than fly a free plane that does not do the type of flying you want to do. You still gotta hang the same $$$ in equipment on the plane, still gotta drive to the field and spend your limited time flying a plane that wont do 3D well.

Yea I'm not tying to be mean. But this is How I see it.

I bought all the equipment ahead of time for a different plane than the U can do. Not for the UCD then this gy gave me a u can do so I'll use that B/c I'd rather bust up a free plane while I learn to hobver. Then I'll get a new plane that 3D's better aso the new plane isn't at so much risk.

sorry for the trouble

Sounds like ok logic to me Faster. Get your thumbs all warmed up on that UCD and then step up to a caddy! If you can learn to hover a UCD, you won't have any problems hovering a yak which is so stable you can practically set your tx down on the ground and walk around it.

Mike you reckon someone can borrow my a 65" Yak to prove that theory??

Edit: This is not a stab at Mike!!! I know even from my little 47" Yak that they are ridiculously stable in a hover. I just want to get to fly a 65" Yak that's all.

Glad to hear someone finally recieved one. I put an order in for the yak today. I hope they still have some. I seen where Mike said that they would probably be out by the end of the week. What kind of goodies are you putting in your edge.
