Boxxer maiden flight...WILD!
Son of a pup........I have never built a more responsive aircraft!! My first flight was as normal, no dual rates, just high rates set up with expo. Well let me tell you folks.....rolls almost faster than the eye can track......waterfalls as tight or as loose as you like em..........knife edge???........forget about it!!........who needs a rudder for a knife edge anyways!!!!! :0) After I did those couple maneuvers, I quickly landed and set up low rates! I needed them if I did not want to have to change my shorts after each flight. I am enough of a 3D pilot so that I am not 'dangerous' with this aircraft. I know however, that the boxxer will get me up to speed with the rest of you......I hope! I love this plane so much that I will definately buy the ARF just so that I can try new maneuvers on it before I try them on my 'Infidel'.
To anyone who has even thought about the boxxer.....BUY IT. Whatever shape of form you can lay your hands on.....just get it.
Thanks OMP!

Of course, before I fly it again, Exceter Acres is going to do a trimming flight on it. He was going to do the maiden on it....I was afraid of it..... but I chickend out of not making the first flight myself. But of course HE IS a WINNING pilot on the IMAC circuit.....and absolutely the best pilot I have ever known.

Not!
Yet
Hope to get a chance on the sticks... this one turned out as one of the most good looking planes I have seen! Build detail, covering, setup... Awesome...
if it flies as well as it was built..... (Ok Mike and Jeremy, this is for you....) and designed... it is going to be a hoot!
Ryker downsells himself...... the boys got skillz!

The Boxxer ARF is in production. Mike hopes to have a few at Toledo. At a minimum, the prototype will be on display at the OMP Booth.
As for the set up, there is an assembly thread:
